Morning sickness during pregnancy is not at all a rare problem. 90% of pregnant women experience some type of nausea or vomiting during their pregnancy. This is actually a symptom that you are having a perfectly healthy baby and it usually disappears around the fourth month of pregnancy. However, sometimes these symptoms last for a longer period of time and it is not rare that it lasts for the whole pregnancy period.

Here are some ways to deal with it:

1. Do Not Keep an Empty Stomach

This is the biggest cause of nausea. Do not try to skip meals and eat what you can. Even if you do not feel like eating a full meal, take at least three meals a day and eat a lot of snacks in between.

2. Eat Right

Eating is not the only way to solve nausea because it is also crucial that you eat well. The best type of food to eat is blind starch. This group of foods contains food like bread, rice and pasta. Also, do not bother about eating too much at the early stages of pregnancy such as the first trimester as the fetus has not developed too much of an appetite yet.

3. Herbal Remedies

This is yet another good way to ease queasiness. One of the most effective herbal remedies is to put ginger into water and drink it. Ginger capsules need to be taken four times a day.

4. Acupuncture or Acupressure

Thin needles or massage techniques are used to activate the pressure points of the body to properly regulate the flow of energy throughout the body.
